Palazzo dell’Antico Borgo

Palazzo dell’Antico Borgo is an ancient noble palace completely and finely renovated which is located on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. This ancient palace still preserves the signs of its glorious history and can accommodate a maximum of 8 people.

It is built on three floors, each characterized by its own style but in continuity with the connective areas and the historical character of the rooms. The main entrance is characterized by a courtyard with a splendid view of the valley, which ends with a large wooden door with two doors from which you enter the building. On the ground floor we find a common area consisting of a piano bar, tables and a relaxation/aperitif area. The peculiarity of these spaces is that historically they were used as warehouses for preserving food such as cheese or cured meats and therefore there are tunnels dug deep that were used to store the first fruits.

The first floor consists of a large noble-style living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and two en suite bedrooms. The bedrooms on this floor are “Arlecchino” and “Barbagianni”.
On the second floor, there are two large and spacious bedrooms, also en suite with a king size bed. These bedrooms are named “LUCIANO” and “FREDIANO” and have a beautiful preferential view of the valley.

The outside part is a true masterpiece. The environment created allows a complete immersion in the pool environment. A contour of plants such as lavender and rosemary will envelop you and you will feel in a harmony of peace and deep connection with the surrounding nature. A huge rectangular pool of elongated shape with deck chairs and everything else necessary for your relaxation and your peace will complete this wonderful picture.
